With one laughing and one crying eye we bis our farewell to Dr. Dana Kube.

A crying eye, because after over 6 years of being an integral part of our EduTec team, we must sadly say goodbye. Dana originally started working at DIPF for the German Education Server. We luckily were then able to win her over to our EduTec team to work with us in the AR4STEAM project. Later she contributed with her exceptional project management skills to the IMPACT and ALI projects. Besides her expert collaboration during the various project phases, she supported us with her public relation work at digital conferences and events and her valuable contributions to research transfer initiatives. We will miss not only her meaningful expertise in social science research and educational technologies, but also her passion for her work and her big team spirit.

We also bid our farewell with a laughing eye, because we had the honor of sharing the fruitful moment when the years of hard work paid off and Dana successfully earned the title of Dr. Dana Kube. We were able to witness how her expertise in CSCL and gender studies grew during her PhD journey and how this achieved expertise has now added new perspectives and a lasting contribution to our knowledge of educational technologies.

We wish you, Dana, success in the exciting opportunities ahead, as you move on to greater academic waters. Wherever these waters lead you, we hope that you stay the engaged individual that you are and continue to support the fight for more gender equality in computer education and society.
