From May 21 to 28, the 16th version of the EATEL Summer School on Technology-Enhanced Learning (JTELSS 2022) was held in the city of Halkidiki, Greece, whose purpose is to promote the dissemination of research in the area of Technology Enhanced Learning and encourage international cooperation between researchers, students and people interested in this topic. Today we celebrated the successful completion of our joint project work between school and research institute in the innovative STE(A)M labs on an augmented reality (AR) apps and STEM learning. The DIPF and the Adorno Gymnasium in Frankfurt set out to develop and learn STEM topics with AR. The result of this innovative STEM Lab is a great app developed together and a documentary film on the process and results. We celebrate this with the presentation of AR Creator certificates for all students and teachers and 2 tablets, which the project team gives to the school as a thank you for the great cooperation and spirited joint works on the future of learning! Hey Game-Creators!Das Forschungs-Team rund um die „Educational Technologies“ der GU und des DIPF veranstalten einen Online #Hackathon: Wir suchen männliche und weibliche Studierende der Informatik ab dem 2. Semester, um am 29.-31. Oktober (halbtags, also ca. 12 Stunden insgesamt) in gemischten Teams EduGames zu entwickeln!Die Hackathon-Teams werden ein Augmented Reality (AR) Spiel für die Schule entwickeln. Ihr braucht keine Coding-Vorkenntnisse: Die Entwicklungs-Umgebung werden wir an eure Programmier-Erfahrungen anpassen, damit Erfahrene wie Anfänger gleiche Chancen und Spaß haben das beste Spiel zu designen! Augmented Reality in the Park in Frankfurt middle school students from Adornogymnasium tried out the augmented reality app in the park next to their school yesterday. a maths and physics question-based parkour in the park was tested. Objects were scanned, volumes calculated, distances estimated and calculated. We are entering the final phase of the project, where we will design a whole lesson together with AR and programme our app for it. exciting late summer leisure activity for teachers and students.
