Sai Sricharan Sammeta is an AI Engineer working at DIPF. With a master's degree in Engineering Sciences (Mechatronics) at Technische Hochschule Rosenheim, Germany, with a strong academic foundation and hands-on expertise in artificial intelligence, machine learning, and digital twin technologies. He has gained substantial professional experience through roles at Volkswagen AG, Qualiwise GmbH, and Technische Hochschule Rosenheim. He gained experience at Volkswagen AG as an AI Engineer Intern and Master Thesis student, where he built advanced AI-driven modules integrated with Siemens Tecnomatix Plant Simulation, leveraging surrogate modeling, reinforcement learning, and predictive optimization to enhance digital twin accuracy and efficiency. At Qualiwise GmbH, he designed and deployed AI-powered solutions for automated inspection, PDF data extraction, and workflow automation using LLMs, GPT-based APIs, and scalable cloud backends. As a Student Research Assistant at TH Rosenheim, he contributed to the development of a Mechanical Design Assistant using graph neural networks and deep learning for predictive design optimization.
